Description:

We’re hiring a Manual QA Tester who knows that great user experience starts with careful testing — someone who’s detail-obsessed, methodical, and committed to making sure nothing broken slips through the cracks. You’ll test mobile apps across iOS and Android devices, verifying that every screen, gesture, and interaction works as intended. You’ll collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand features and find weak spots before users do. We’ll rely on you to check how the app behaves with poor internet, backgrounding, permissions, and push notifications. You’ll review product requirements and ask the right questions before development even begins. You’ll help test in different environments, screen sizes, browsers, and devices to ensure coverage across platforms. You’ll also perform exploratory testing, thinking like a curious user who tries things in unexpected ways. You’ll assist in updating test documentation and flag outdated cases that no longer reflect the product accurately. You’ll join sprint meetings, report on test progress, and help define what “done” really means in QA terms. You’ll test across platforms and devices, depending on the product — desktop, mobile, browsers, or hardware if needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Write clear, respectful bug reports that help, not blame.
• Keep notes on known issues, tricky flows, or feature quirks for the team’s collective memory.
• Stay calm and focused when deadlines are tight or builds are buggy—you're the safety net.
• Follow test cases step by step—and go beyond them when your instincts say 'something feels off'.
• Be the voice of the user—flag anything confusing, broken, or just frustrating.

Preferred:

• Able to test features independently while also contributing to team-wide QA coverage.
• Able to follow checklists and SOPs but also think critically to spot non-obvious issues.
• Values consistency, communication, and curiosity when identifying product issues.
• Understands the software development lifecycle and the role of QA in agile or waterfall environments.
• Enjoys finding flaws, breaking things (gently), and ensuring a smooth user experience.
