Description:
We’re hiring a Factory Operator to join our 24/7 production facility — perfect for someone who’s reliable, adaptable, and ready to thrive in a rotating shift environment. You’ll work in one of three shifts — morning, evening, or night — depending on the production schedule and staffing needs. You’ll monitor gauges, sensors, and displays to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and within safety limits. You’ll watch over conveyor systems, robotic arms, or packaging machines, making real-time adjustments to prevent errors or waste. You’ll follow strict hygiene protocols — washing hands regularly, wearing PPE, and avoiding contamination at all times. You’ll be trained to read technical drawings and measure output precisely using calipers, micrometers, or laser tools. You’ll be trained to detect damaged packaging, underweight items, or labeling issues and report them immediately. You’ll document material usage, scrap, and output volume for production tracking and compliance records. You’ll coordinate with maintenance staff to report mechanical issues and assist in minor troubleshooting or resets.
Basic Qualifications:
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and maintenance teams about equipment problems.
- Stay organized and detail-oriented to prevent errors or waste during operation.
- Monitor machines during operation to detect malfunctions or inconsistencies in product quality.
- Be flexible with rotating shifts, overtime, or weekend work during peak production periods.
- Follow start-up and shutdown procedures for assigned machines at beginning and end of shift.
Preferred:
- Background or interest in industrial operations, mechanical systems, or manufacturing processes.
- Familiar with operating, monitoring, and adjusting machinery to maintain consistent production output.
- Able to work in shifts including nights, weekends, or rotating schedules depending on production demands.
- Understands and follows safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures and proper PPE usage.
- Able to follow technical instructions, blueprints, or standard operating procedures (SOPs) with accuracy.
Benefits:
- Job stability — factories are the backbone of manufacturing, and your position is critical.
- A hands-on job with real impact — you’ll see the results of your work every day as products are made and shipped.
- Team-based work culture — collaborate with people who share your dedication to quality and productivity.
- A stable career path in a growing industry — manufacturing is essential, and there will always be a need for skilled operators.
- Room to grow — you can move from operator to supervisor, manager, or even specialist in different production areas.
You’ll assist with quick changeovers for different product runs, cleaning parts and inputting new specs where required. You’ll contribute to lean manufacturing efforts by identifying inefficiencies and participating in kaizen or 5S programs. You’ll assist with sorting, stacking, or bundling metal parts for transport or final packaging. You’ll receive guidance on lean production, waste reduction, and proper material usage. You’ll be expected to work on your feet in a chilled, clean, and sometimes fast-paced environment. You’ll be expected to stay focused and organized even during long or repetitive tasks under low supervision. Prior experience in factory operations is preferred, along with comfort using touchscreens, control panels, or simple diagnostic tools. If you’re ready to power production day and night and be a vital link in the chain, we’re ready to bring you onboard full-time. If you're ready to keep production moving, meet goals, and support your team, we’re ready to have you on the floor.
