Description:

We’re hiring a Residential Electrician to wire, repair, and upgrade electrical systems in homes and apartments — perfect for someone who values safety, neat work, and client satisfaction. You’ll respond to urgent electrical issues such as sudden outages, tripped breakers, burning smells, or sparking equipment in homes and commercial buildings. You’ll handle lighting systems, emergency backups, breaker panels, access controls, and HVAC electrical connections. You’ll be responsible for installing conduit, cable trays, bus bars, and grounding systems according to safety codes. You’ll respond to service tickets quickly, working efficiently to minimize disruption to building occupants. You’ll work with building management to ensure code compliance, plan upgrades, and maintain accurate maintenance logs. You’ll conduct preventive maintenance on motors, relays, VFDs, lighting systems, and backup power sources to reduce downtime. You’ll document each job thoroughly, including time of arrival, actions taken, materials used, and photos of damage and resolution. You’ll coordinate with dispatchers, property managers, or facility supervisors for access and follow-up scheduling.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and electrical isolation protocols during maintenance.
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining complex issues in easy-to-understand language.
• Adapt to challenging environments, shifting schedules, or last-minute site changes.
• Install and configure smart home devices, generators, or backup power systems if required.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, or facility managers on project timelines and requirements.

Preferred:

• Thrives in hands-on, high-responsibility environments where attention to detail is essential.
• Skilled in working with conduit, circuit breakers, outlets, lighting systems, and control panels.

You’ll work closely with engineers, safety officers, machine operators, and automation technicians as part of a multidisciplinary team. You’ll receive training in rapid troubleshooting, live-panel safety, and safe work methods under time constraints. You’ll rotate between rough-ins, finish installs, inspections, and maintenance work depending on the project stage. You’ll rotate between projects, scheduled maintenance, and emergency repairs depending on plant demand. You’ll be expected to climb ladders, access electrical rooms, and work in hot, loud, or confined environments. You’ll mentor junior team members when needed, sharing your knowledge of troubleshooting, layouts, and safe practices. You’ll stay current with local building codes, commercial-grade materials, and modern lighting systems.
