Description:
We’re seeking an IT Support Technician who’s equal parts tech-savvy and people-friendly. You’ll serve as the first responder to internal tech issues, solving problems before they become blockers. You’ll be the calm voice in chaos when someone’s system crashes five minutes before a meeting. You’ll troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and anything else that beeps or blinks. Whether it’s Windows, macOS, or a random network error, you’re ready to jump in and diagnose the issue. People will look to you for answers — and you’ll deliver them in plain language, not tech jargon. You’ll support Windows, macOS, and cloud-based tools, ensuring our team can work efficiently anywhere. You’ll support both local and remote team members, ensuring seamless collaboration wherever they are. You’re not afraid of command lines, but you’re also great at clicking through GUI-based setups.
Basic Qualifications:
- Support audio/video equipment and conferencing tools like Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet—especially for meetings or webinars.
- Maintain a helpful, professional, and solution-oriented attitude—you're often the first impression of the IT team.
- Install, update, and troubleshoot software and applications, ensuring compatibility and security compliance.
- Assist with account provisioning, password resets, and access rights in systems like Active Directory, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365.
- Respond quickly to incidents like phishing attempts, malware alerts, or data loss—taking proper steps to contain and report.
Preferred:
- Thrives in collaborative, structured environments with clear documentation and tools.
- Familiar with remote support tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or Zoom for assisting users.
- Understands how to reset passwords, manage user accounts, and configure email clients.
- Familiar with Windows, macOS, or Linux environments and common troubleshooting steps.
- Can assist in maintaining inventory, updating IT logs, and organizing documentation.
Benefits:
- We respect your quiet time — no fire drills unless it’s really 🔥.
- Opportunities to grow into SysAdmin, DevOps, or IT Operations Lead roles.
- You’ll help reduce downtime, prevent issues, and create a calm, efficient tech environment.
- Access to premium tools: Remote Desktop, MDM software, ticketing systems (Jira, Freshdesk), and monitoring dashboards.
- Flexible hours — troubleshoot when you’re sharpest, whether that’s 8am or 8pm.
You’ll collaborate with the security and systems teams to keep everything running smoothly and safely. You’ll also help write internal guides so users can self-serve simple fixes. You’ll work with vendors, help manage inventory, and make sure we never run out of cables again. If a team member needs a fix, you won’t rest until the issue is resolved — or escalated with clear notes. You value clarity, follow-up, and documentation as much as the fix itself. You take pride in delivering not just answers, but excellent service. If you’ve ever explained to someone how to connect to Wi-Fi over the phone without losing your mind — you’ll do great here. Technology should make people’s lives easier — and you’ll be the reason it does. If you love making tech work better for real people, this is the role where you’ll thrive.
