Description:

We’re hiring a Cleaner Trainee to support hygiene and safety in a healthcare environment, where cleanliness directly impacts patient well-being. You’ll begin by learning how to clean large open areas like corridors, food courts, and entrances after the crowds are gone. You’ll assist in sanitizing bathrooms, refilling toiletries, and ensuring towels are fresh, folded, and properly placed. You’ll be trained on how to clean screens, keyboards, and office equipment carefully without damaging sensitive surfaces. You’ll help restock housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, bottled water, toilet paper, and minibar items. You’ll wear proper protective equipment (gloves, mask, gown, etc. ) and be taught how to remove and replace it safely. You’ll be responsible for using the right cleaning products on specific materials like glass, wood, and electronics. You’ll wear safety gear and learn to place caution signs properly when working with wet floors or cleaning chemicals.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow health, fire, and safety regulations in every aspect of your duties.
• Follow checklists to ensure all assigned areas are cleaned thoroughly and consistently.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete cleaning tasks within set timeframes.
• Adapt routines during special events, deep-cleaning days, or seasonal shifts.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, workspaces, and public areas according to daily schedules.

Preferred:

• Willing to adapt to changing tasks or respond to urgent cleaning needs when requested by supervisors.
• Understands the difference between general cleaning, deep cleaning, and disinfecting tasks.
• Follows safety and hygiene protocols including wearing gloves, masks, and appropriate footwear.
• Experience performing cleaning duties in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Enjoys creating orderly, hygienic spaces and contributing to health and comfort.
