Description:

We’re hiring a UX/UI Designer Trainee — no experience needed, just curiosity, visual sense, and a desire to build interfaces people actually enjoy using. You’ll start by working closely with product designers and developers to support real projects in progress — dashboards, mobile apps, landing pages, and flows. We’ll teach you how to use Figma libraries, auto layout, constraints, variants, and documentation best practices. You’ll start by helping clean up files, organize typography, align spacing, and unify components that feel disconnected. Expect to design onboarding flows, home screens, tab bars, popups, forms, and other essential building blocks of mobile UX. We’ll guide you through platform-specific principles — iOS vs Android, native vs hybrid — and what matters where. You’ll also work with designers, writers, and marketers to keep each section clean, punchy, and user-focused. You’ll work with Figma, FigJam, Notion, Maze, or other tools to help visualize flows and gather reactions quickly. Some days you’ll work on mobile views, others on responsive desktop — and you’ll get faster at adapting to different screen sizes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support handoff by exporting assets, writing documentation, and checking final builds for quality.
• Be the champion of user-centered design on your team—question assumptions, push for clarity.
• Be open to scrapping work if testing shows it’s not working—iteration is part of the job.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to turn ideas into wireframes and prototypes.
• Maintain and evolve design systems to keep components consistent and scalable.

Preferred:

• Enjoys solving real problems through elegant and intuitive design solutions.
• Comfortable using prototyping tools to demonstrate animations, transitions, or complex interactions.
• Values empathy, clarity, and functionality in digital experiences.
• Proficient in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch with experience creating user interfaces and interactive prototypes.
• Background or interest in interaction design, psychology, human-computer interaction (HCI), or visual communication.
