Description:

We’re hiring a Public Relations Trainee who’s excited to learn how to manage brand image, engage with media, and tell stories that connect — no experience required, just a love for language and a sharp sense of timing. You’ll help draft media pitches, press releases, and talking points for internal and external use. We’ll train you to spot newsworthy angles, monitor media trends, and time your stories for maximum impact. You’ll support the PR team during product launches, events, and media interviews — ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Expect to support campaign launches, brand announcements, and reactive statements when fast communication matters most. You’ll learn how to write for different formats: newsrooms, blogs, emails, and even Instagram captions — each with their own voice. We’ll show you how to handle both positive PR and sensitive communication moments with professionalism and care. You’ll assist in compiling media coverage, creating recap reports, and evaluating PR success with clear metrics. We’ll introduce you to the tools of the trade — like media databases, coverage trackers, and sentiment analysis dashboards.

Basic Qualifications:

• Craft press releases, media pitches, and official statements that reflect the brand’s tone and values.
• Collaborate with marketing, social, and leadership teams to align messaging across all channels.
• Coach team members on how to speak to the press or handle interviews.
• Act as a spokesperson when needed or prep company leaders for public speaking opportunities.
• Manage crisis communications by staying calm, strategic, and two steps ahead.

Preferred:

• Comfortable using PR tools such as Meltwater, Cision, Muck Rack, or Google Alerts for media monitoring.
• Can prepare communication briefs and debriefs for post-campaign evaluation.
• Familiar with social media strategy and how PR integrates with digital marketing efforts.
• Able to monitor sentiment and stay ahead of public opinion shifts or emerging topics.
• Open to managing influencer outreach or brand ambassador relations when relevant.
