Description:

We’re offering a Sales Assistant Internship for someone who’s ready to learn by doing — someone curious, reliable, and eager to see how retail works from the inside out. You’ll assist with customer interactions, learning how to greet, guide, and support shoppers with professionalism and care. You’ll practice those same skills yourself, gradually building comfort in starting conversations and helping customers with confidence. You’ll shadow experienced team members to learn how to handle payments, answer product questions, and resolve simple issues. You’ll be taught how to listen actively, read customer needs, and offer recommendations that genuinely help — not just sell. You’ll also observe how sales targets work and how individual performance contributes to team success. You’ll shadow experienced staff and gradually take on more direct responsibility as your comfort level increases. You’ll be part of team meetings, where you'll learn how promotions, seasonal products, and store strategy are communicated. You’ll learn how to multitask, from folding clothes or tagging items to helping at the counter when the line grows.

Basic Qualifications:

• Answer questions about products, promotions, or return policies with confidence and clarity.
• Tag, fold, or hang merchandise so everything looks presentation-ready.
• Act as a brand ambassador by upholding company values and delivering top-tier service.
• Take initiative to help customers, even if it’s not in your immediate area.
• Balance friendliness with efficiency, especially during peak hours.

Preferred:

• Willing to follow store security procedures and assist with loss prevention efforts.
• Able to multitask during busy periods, especially weekends or sales events.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and helping lift or move merchandise when needed.
• Can handle customer complaints or returns with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.
• Able to assist clients with product selection, answer questions, and offer personalized recommendations.
