Description:

We’re looking for a Dental Assistant who can pass suction like a ninja, sterilize instruments with style, and make patients feel like VIPs. You’ll prep treatment rooms with care, ensuring everything is spotless, stocked, and ready before the first patient arrives. From preparing treatment rooms to handing instruments during procedures, you’ll be an extra set of skilled hands for the dentist. You know how to handle suction, X-rays, and charting — and still have time for a reassuring word. You’ll know what’s needed before anyone has to ask, because your intuition is practically psychic. You’ll help patients feel relaxed, even if they “hate the dentist” — challenge accepted. You’ll help kids laugh, adults relax, and anxious visitors breathe a little easier. You’ll sanitize, stock, and straighten like someone who finds peace in order. Whether it’s a routine cleaning or a complex procedure, you’ll support the process with confidence and care.

Basic Qualifications:

• Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene, procedure aftercare, or follow-up appointments.
• Help maintain dental equipment such as autoclaves, suction systems, curing lights, and chairs—reporting malfunctions promptly.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as instructed, ensuring proper positioning, safety measures, and image clarity.
• Assist with billing, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and patient intake when front desk coverage is needed.
• Welcome patients, confirm appointment details, and help ease anxiety by creating a calm, friendly environment in the clinic.

Preferred:

• Can manage front desk duties when needed, including scheduling, billing, and verifying insurance.
• Familiar with dental terminology and able to record patient information accurately in charts or software.
• Excited to support both clinical excellence and a positive patient experience.
• Familiar with sterilization techniques and infection control protocols in a clinical setting.
• Comfortable explaining post-treatment care to patients in a calm and supportive manner.
