We’re hiring a Kindergarten Teacher Trainee to support children with special needs — no prior experience required, just a big heart and a willingness to learn. If you’ve ever comforted a crying child, sparked a smile with a story, or helped tie tiny shoes, you already have the heart for this role. In this role, you’ll show boys and girls alike that care, respect, and gentleness are qualities anyone can lead with. You’ll assist lead teachers in creating a structured, supportive environment where children feel safe to explore and learn. We’ll train you in everything from daily routines to conflict resolution, from play-based learning to child safety standards. Expect slow progress some days — and the deepest joy when a child makes eye contact, speaks a new word, or joins a group activity for the first time. Expect to read stories aloud, build with blocks, tie shoelaces, and offer steady reassurance when emotions run high. You’ll observe how experienced teachers plan lessons, resolve conflicts gently, and nurture each child as an individual. You’ll help children build friendships, solve tiny conflicts, and express big emotions with growing maturity.

Basic Qualifications:

• Balance structure with play to foster both discipline and joy in learning.
• Use praise and positive reinforcement to build confidence and motivation.
• Create a calm environment where children can self-regulate and focus.
• Celebrate small wins like tying shoes or writing their name for the first time.
• Use songs, movement, and visuals to keep young minds engaged and active.

Preferred:

• Comfortable incorporating basic technology, art, and storytelling into classroom activities.
• Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and fellow educators effectively.
• Committed to health and hygiene standards, including handwashing routines and cleaning toys.
• Able to identify early signs of learning difficulties and communicate them to specialists or parents.
• Values compassion, patience, and creativity in early education settings.
