Description:

We’re hiring a Junior Frontend Developer to join our team and help create engaging, dynamic websites and applications. You’ll work alongside senior developers to create well-structured, maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You’ll be responsible for writing clean, maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and for testing your work to ensure quality. You’ll help implement designs provided by the design team, ensuring that they look great across devices and browsers. You’ll gain hands-on experience with frontend frameworks like React, Vue. js, or Angular, and work on real-world projects from start to finish. You’ll collaborate with the backend team to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality between the frontend and backend. You’ll debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth functionality and a seamless user experience. You’ll contribute to the improvement of website performance, focusing on speed and accessibility.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use Git for version control—committing cleanly, branching properly, and writing clear commit messages.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and display dynamic content efficiently.
• Assist in building interactive elements like modals, tabs, sliders, and form validations using modern JS techniques.
• Explore performance tools like Lighthouse or Web Vitals to understand what makes a site fast and efficient.
• Participate in daily standups, code reviews, and sprint planning to stay aligned with the team and keep tasks moving.

Preferred:

• Knows how to break tasks into components and manage simple app state.
• Can follow Figma or design mockups and translate them into pixel-accurate code.
• Open to receiving code reviews and iterating based on feedback.
• Eager to learn testing tools like Jest or end-to-end testing with Cypress.
• Comfortable using browser dev tools for debugging layout and functionality issues.
