Description:

We’re looking for a Sports Coach who understands that every athlete is different — someone who listens first, then tailors training to unlock personal bests through patience, structure, and motivation. You’ll be responsible for planning and leading practices that build skill, teamwork, and confidence across all experience levels. You’ll develop game strategies, run drills, and guide players through conditioning programs tailored to their sport and goals. We expect you to teach fundamentals with clarity, correct mistakes with care, and motivate with respect. You’ll analyze performance, give feedback, and help athletes understand both their strengths and what they can improve. You’ll foster a culture of respect, accountability, and resilience — both in victory and defeat. You’ll guide athletes through goal-setting, tracking progress, and learning from setbacks. You’ll communicate clearly, listen actively, and know when to step in — or step back — to let progress unfold. You’ll communicate with parents, staff, and leadership to ensure goals are aligned and expectations are clear.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay current on coaching certifications, rule changes, and training methodologies.
• Communicate with parents, guardians, or sponsors when working with youth athletes.
• Adjust training plans based on progress, injuries, or upcoming events.
• Foster a culture of hard work, respect, and continuous growth.
• Analyze performance during practices and competitions to provide personalized feedback.

Preferred:

• Wants to grow into roles like Head Coach, Athletic Director, or Performance Trainer.
• Able to analyze performance using video playback, stats, or drills to identify areas for improvement.
• Understands injury prevention, basic first aid, and how to modify training for athletes returning from injury.
• Certified in coaching, physical education, or athletic training, or willing to obtain certification if required.
• Comfortable coaching in competitive or recreational settings, depending on athlete goals.
