Description:

We’re hiring a Factory Operator to support operations in our metal processing facility — ideal for someone who’s strong, focused, and committed to safety in an industrial environment. You’ll operate heavy-duty equipment such as press brakes, rollers, furnaces, or cutting machines depending on your assigned station. You’ll be responsible for loading raw ingredients, monitoring batching systems, and ensuring proper portion control. You’ll monitor gauges, temperatures, and pressure indicators to ensure operations stay within safety tolerances. You’ll help handle sheet metal, rods, bars, or castings using forklifts, cranes, or hand tools depending on product type. You’ll help clean and sanitize machines and surfaces between product runs to meet food safety standards. You’ll inspect finished parts for surface quality, structural integrity, and adherence to specifications. You’ll help clean your area, reload supplies, and reset machines at the end of each shift for a smooth restart. You’ll log batch numbers, times, and quantities for traceability and quality control records.

Basic Qualifications:

• Report accidents, near-misses, or unsafe conditions immediately for corrective action.
• Work on repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and consistency throughout long shifts.
• Follow daily production schedules and meet output targets without compromising quality.
• Stay organized and detail-oriented to prevent errors or waste during operation.
• Package, label, or stack finished goods for storage or shipping as instructed.

Preferred:

• Able to work in shifts including nights, weekends, or rotating schedules depending on production demands.
• Able to follow technical instructions, blueprints, or standard operating procedures (SOPs) with accuracy.
• Familiar with operating, monitoring, and adjusting machinery to maintain consistent production output.
• Physically fit and capable of standing, lifting, bending, and moving materials throughout the workday.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks for long periods with consistency and attention to detail.

You’ll help resolve minor mechanical jams and notify maintenance teams of any equipment concerns. You’ll receive ongoing instruction in heat safety, lockout/tagout, and how to respond in case of equipment malfunction. You’ll assist with sorting, stacking, or bundling metal parts for transport or final packaging. You’ll attend regular safety briefings, team huddles, and training updates to stay aligned with operational standards. You’ll work as part of a disciplined team where timing, accuracy, and communication are essential. You’ll be expected to stay on your feet for long periods, lift moderate loads, and stay focused in a noisy, fast-paced environment. Prior factory experience is a plus, but attitude and dependability matter more than background.
