Description:

We’re hiring a Photographer / Videographer Trainee — no professional experience required, just a passion for visual storytelling and a drive to learn by doing. You’ll assist in planning, shooting, and editing visual stories — interviews, vlogs, aesthetic b-roll, table scenes, morning light, walks, hands making tea, and real-life pauses that feel like cinema. We’ll teach you how to frame shots quickly, shoot in changing light, and capture authentic details that bring locations to life. Expect to hike, move light gear, set up fast, and shoot both raw and cinematic footage in places where conditions change quickly. You’ll help set up gear, frame wide and close angles, manage batteries, card backups, and stay alert in fast-changing situations. We’ll train you to work with gimbals, GoPros, drones, and natural light to capture scenes that feel immersive and personal. You’ll learn how to find balance between creativity and client needs — and how to shoot intentionally with editing in mind. You’ll gain skills in framing wide vs. You’ll learn to combine raw footage with overlay shots, visual metaphors, and subtle transitions to create emotion, not just information.

Basic Qualifications:

• Review content with clients or team members for feedback before finalizing.
• Maintain an organized archive of past projects for future edits or reuse.
• Scout and prepare locations, ensuring lighting, space, and sound are appropriate.
• Capture behind-the-scenes moments when relevant for additional content value.
• Take direction well, but also offer ideas that can elevate the final product.

Preferred:

• Comfortable directing subjects during shoots to achieve natural, high-quality results.
• Capable of basic color correction, audio syncing, transitions, and adding text overlays to video content.
• Able to shoot portraits, events, products, or lifestyle content depending on project needs.
• Pays close attention to visual consistency, sharpness, and storytelling in all media.
• Background or passion in visual storytelling, film, photography, or content production.
