Description:

We’re offering a Web Designer Trainee position for someone who’s ready to turn sketches into scroll-stopping digital experiences — no experience required, just a creative mindset and a desire to grow. You’ll assist in designing website layouts, homepage mockups, and user flows under the guidance of experienced designers. We’ll teach you the fundamentals of visual hierarchy, spacing, color theory, and how to design for responsiveness. You’ll help turn ideas into wireframes and wireframes into polished UI designs using tools like Figma or Adobe XD. Expect to work closely with developers to ensure your designs are not only beautiful but buildable. You’ll get familiar with tools like Figma, Webflow, or Adobe Creative Suite to build layouts and explore design ideas. We’ll guide you in using design systems, UI kits, and real-world constraints to stay consistent and scalable. You’ll participate in feedback sessions where you’ll learn how to iterate quickly and defend your creative choices. We’ll show you how to collect and apply feedback from clients, teammates, and even real users.

Basic Qualifications:

• Design visually engaging websites that are both user-friendly and on-brand.
• Help optimize load times by creating lightweight assets and considering performance in your design.
• Design landing pages, e-commerce experiences, or dashboards depending on project needs.
• Create and maintain design documentation so others can understand and build on your work.
• Bring creativity to even the smallest details—icons, buttons, error states, you name it.

Preferred:

• Open to feedback and design critique sessions to improve clarity and usability.
• Proficient in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Webflow with a strong eye for layout, color, and typography.
• Comfortable adapting designs for brand refreshes, campaign assets, or seasonal variations.
• Knows how to optimize design assets for fast load times and clean visual presentation.
• Values clarity, innovation, and functionality in online user experiences.
