We’re welcoming aspiring musicians and composers to join us as trainees and learn how to turn raw musical ideas into polished productions. No studio credits needed — just creativity, discipline, and an open mind for feedback and experimentation. We’ll teach you how to turn raw ideas into structured compositions with a clear mood, arc, and tone. We’ll guide you through the process of scoring scenes, writing loops, and arranging music for various emotional beats. Expect to work closely with sound designers, producers, and video editors to align audio with visuals. You’ll dive into the basics of sound design, sampling, and building dynamic audio from scratch. We’ll guide you in writing musical themes, experimenting with harmonies, and balancing instrumentation. You’ll learn how to keep compositions tight, emotionally rich, and sonically balanced. You’ll learn how to compose music that communicates without words — just rhythm, texture, and tone.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use music software like Logic Pro, Ableton, FL Studio, or Sibelius confidently.
• Translate abstract direction (“make it feel nostalgic but hopeful”) into musical ideas.
• Sync music to visuals by hitting emotional beats, pacing, or transitions accurately.
• Play instruments or conduct live sessions to bring your compositions to life.
• Provide multiple versions or stems of tracks to give editors flexibility.

Preferred:

• Background or strong passion in music composition, performance, sound design, or film scoring.
• Organized with project files, track stems, and version control during the composition process.
• Familiar with recording equipment, audio interfaces, and basic mixing and mastering processes.
• Wants to grow into roles like Lead Composer, Music Director, or Audio Producer.
• Experience composing original pieces for film, games, advertising, or live performance.
