We’re looking for an Online Course Assistant who can help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes of our digital learning experience. You’ll be the go-to person for both students and instructors, making sure lessons go live on time, assignments are tracked, and nobody feels lost in the digital shuffle. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between instructors and learners — organizing course materials, managing discussion boards, responding to student questions, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll upload course content, maintain schedules, manage email communication, and offer light tech support when someone can’t find the “submit” button. If you’re detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and enjoy helping others learn, you’ll feel right at home here. We’re looking for someone who can stay on top of multiple tasks at once, troubleshoot basic issues, and offer encouragement when learners need a little boost. Basic Qualifications:

• Assist with onboarding new students by providing access, welcome messages, and basic tech support.
• Maintain a friendly, respectful tone in all student interactions—be the “approachable human” behind the platform.
• Be present in discussions to keep momentum going and encourage thoughtful participation.
• Gather testimonials, ratings, or success stories from students for marketing purposes.
• Stay familiar with the course content to offer relevant and helpful support, not just generic responses.

Preferred:

• Has experience as a student in online courses and understands the learner perspective.
• Takes feedback well and applies it to improve workflows and communication.
• Open to collaborating with educators, designers, and other assistants.
• Able to spot inconsistencies in course materials and report them to the instructor.
• Can proofread or lightly edit content for clarity or grammar as needed.
