Description:

We’re hiring a talented and creative Video Editor to join our remote team and produce high-impact videos for various platforms. You’ll be responsible for editing footage, creating dynamic video sequences, and adding special effects to enhance the viewer experience. You’ll work closely with the creative team to ensure the final product meets the vision and requirements of each project. You’ll work on a wide range of video projects, including promotional content, brand storytelling, and social media videos. You’ll ensure that videos are engaging, well-paced, and visually appealing, adhering to brand guidelines and objectives. You’ll create content for social media channels, websites, email campaigns, and promotional videos that resonate with our target audience. You’ll help create motion graphics, animations, and special effects to add creativity and visual interest to the videos. You’ll use video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro to deliver high-quality results.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay organized in your file structure and naming—messy timelines slow everyone down.
• Collaborate with content creators, marketers, or clients remotely to understand project goals and deliver on time.
• Manage multiple projects at once while maintaining quality, speed, and creative energy.
• Edit short- and long-form content with equal skill, adapting storytelling for different formats and attention spans.
• Color-correct, audio-balance, and export videos in platform-specific formats (e.g., vertical for Reels/TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube).

Preferred:

• Able to take initiative and suggest creative improvements to enhance video impact.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• Familiar with adding royalty-free music, sound effects, and voiceovers where needed.
• Excited to grow into roles like Senior Video Editor, Content Producer, or Creative Lead.
• Enjoys telling stories through visuals and crafting emotionally resonant edits.
