Description:
We’re hiring an Exterior Painter to work on building facades, balconies, fences, and high walls — ideal for someone who’s not afraid of heights, works well outdoors, and values lasting protection and curb appeal. You’ll work on apartments, houses, and commercial units during their final phase before handover to owners or tenants. You’ll apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment depending on the surface and project type. You’ll follow client instructions and color specs to match tones, textures, and finishes exactly as requested. You’ll help set up and break down containment areas, scaffolding, and ventilation systems before and after each job. You’ll work around electricians, tilers, and carpenters in active job sites where timing and teamwork are critical. You’ll follow strict OSHA and jobsite protocols, including confined space entry, fall protection, and hazardous materials handling. You’ll be trusted to work in expensive and delicate environments where protection and care are paramount. You’ll communicate with interior designers, homeowners, or project managers to confirm vision and expectations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Estimate time, materials, and labor for upcoming jobs and communicate with clients or team leads.
- Protect adjacent surfaces with drop cloths, tape, and coverings before painting begins.
- Stay updated on eco-friendly paints, surface trends, and advanced application tools.
- Adapt to different surface types—wood, concrete, drywall, brick—and adjust techniques accordingly.
- Operate lifts or extension poles for high-reach areas while maintaining balance and safety.
Preferred:
- Willing to work in occupied spaces respectfully, maintaining a clean and quiet work environment.
- Willing to protect furniture, floors, and fixtures using drop cloths, tape, and coverings.
- Familiar with repairing drywall, filling holes, or caulking gaps prior to painting.
- Wants to grow into roles like Lead Painter, Foreman, or Decorative Finishes Specialist.
- Values craftsmanship, consistency, and visual quality in every project.
Benefits:
- We value your expertise — not just your speed, but your quality.
- Steady work schedule — no surprises, and plenty of overtime when available.
- Room to grow — from painter to lead, or supervisor roles.
- Opportunities to work on specialized projects — murals, faux finishes, or exterior work.
- You’re not just covering walls — you’re adding personality and character to spaces.
You’ll help install signage, patch scuffs, and handle small touch-ups before final inspection or walkthrough. You’ll assist with transporting paint, ladders, tape, and drop cloths from site to site using company vehicles or your own. You’ll assist with loading and unloading paint materials, tools, and job site supplies. You’ll assist with samples, mockups, and test areas before final application on any custom project. You’ll receive consistent hours and opportunities to move up into team lead or foreman roles over time. You’ll work indoors or outdoors in all seasons depending on the assignment and surface conditions. No experience is required — just good hand control, physical stamina, and an eye for quality. If you’re ready to turn plain walls into works of art, we’re ready to welcome you as a Decorative Painter.
