We’re offering an Actuary Trainee position for someone who wants to turn data into smart, future-focused decisions — no experience needed, just a strong foundation in math and a drive to learn. You’ll assist in building models that help predict outcomes like claim frequency, life expectancy, or financial losses. We’ll teach you how to work with data sets, clean messy inputs, and extract meaningful insights for actuarial use. You’ll help assess risks in areas like insurance, pensions, or investment products, depending on the team you join. Expect to work with large spreadsheets, probability tables, and actuarial software tools that support long-term forecasting. You’ll learn to interpret mortality tables, claim patterns, and economic assumptions. We’ll show you how to present complex data in ways that support better, faster decisions for stakeholders. You’ll contribute to the creation of reports, visual dashboards, and internal presentations used to guide key decisions. Basic Qualifications:

• Interpret raw data to identify trends, anomalies, or new opportunities in risk management.
• Train or mentor junior actuarial staff and help them prepare for certification exams.
• Take a proactive role in identifying risks before they become expensive problems.
• Build and maintain actuarial models that predict outcomes for insurance, finance, or pension products.
• Break down large problems into smaller pieces, testing assumptions and dependencies carefully.

Preferred:

• Comfortable using tools like Excel (with advanced functions), SAS, Prophet, or VBA for data manipulation.
• Background or strong interest in actuarial science, economics, risk management, or applied statistics.
• Willing to validate and test actuarial models for accuracy and robustness.
• Capable of conducting pricing, reserving, or capital modeling tasks under supervision.
• Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and financial theory with relevant academic background.
