Description:

We’re offering a Sales Assistant Internship for someone who’s ready to learn by doing — someone curious, reliable, and eager to see how retail works from the inside out. You’ll assist with customer interactions, learning how to greet, guide, and support shoppers with professionalism and care. You’ll practice those same skills yourself, gradually building comfort in starting conversations and helping customers with confidence. You’ll shadow experienced team members to learn how to handle payments, answer product questions, and resolve simple issues. We’ll teach you how to operate the till, scan items, process payments, and handle basic returns or exchanges. You’ll assist with promotional signage, seasonal setups, and backroom prep to keep the store running smoothly. You’ll gain insight into inventory basics — such as restocking, tagging, and keeping count of popular items. You’ll be part of team meetings, where you'll learn how promotions, seasonal products, and store strategy are communicated. You’ll learn how to multitask, from folding clothes or tagging items to helping at the counter when the line grows.

Basic Qualifications:

• Act as a brand ambassador by upholding company values and delivering top-tier service.
• Report low stock or customer feedback to supervisors to help improve operations.
• Support a smooth shopping experience by anticipating customer needs before they ask.
• Answer questions about products, promotions, or return policies with confidence and clarity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store layout throughout the day.

Preferred:

• Familiar with basic store operations, opening/closing checklists, and shift handovers.
• Willing to follow store security procedures and assist with loss prevention efforts.
• Values customer satisfaction, teamwork, and efficiency in day-to-day tasks.
• Can provide feedback to managers about customer preferences or frequently asked questions.
• Background or interest in retail, fashion, electronics, home goods, or specialty sales.
