We’re seeking a Canva Template Designer who combines creativity with precision and knows how to make digital products people love to download and use. You’ve probably created more templates than you can count, and each one reflects a unique blend of aesthetics and functionality. Your sense of layout, font pairing, and visual hierarchy is sharp, and you know exactly how to make a template both beautiful and practical. You’ve likely created templates for clients or sold your own, and you understand the importance of combining flexibility with aesthetic structure. This isn’t just about making things “pretty” — it’s about building templates that non-designers *want* to use and can easily customize. Whether it’s planners, social media graphics, business presentations, or digital products, your designs are clean, smart, and on-brand. You keep up with visual trends and know what sells on Etsy, Gumroad, or in digital packs. You enjoy working independently but are also happy bouncing ideas around with a team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Create visually appealing thumbnails and showcase graphics that help sell or present the templates effectively.
• Maintain a consistent aesthetic across your portfolio while experimenting with new styles and layouts.
• Design beautiful, functional, and easily customizable templates in Canva for various use cases—social media posts, presentations, planners, resumes, and more.
• Adapt template styles across multiple niches (coaches, teachers, content creators, real estate agents, etc.).
• Deliver templates according to deadlines, brand guidelines, and platform constraints—quality doesn’t have to be slow.

Preferred:

• Knows how to balance aesthetics with functionality in editable templates.
• Familiar with Canva Pro features like content planner, folders, and team sharing.
• Can follow brand guidelines and create visually consistent content packages.
• Keeps up with design trends and updates in Canva’s feature set.
• Understands visual hierarchy, spacing, and color theory for effective layout design.
