Description:

We’re hiring a dedicated Discord Moderator to help manage and grow our online community, ensuring a positive environment for all members. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a positive and respectful environment on our Discord server, ensuring that all users follow community guidelines. You’ll assist in resolving conflicts, addressing inappropriate behavior, and fostering healthy interactions within the community. You’ll assist in organizing and moderating events, such as discussions, contests, and group activities, to keep the community engaged. You’ll monitor chat activity, ensuring that conversations remain respectful, appropriate, and in line with server rules. You’ll help organize events and activities that engage the community, encourage collaboration, and keep members active. You’ll be responsible for onboarding new members, answering questions, and guiding them on how to navigate the server. You’ll assist in creating and updating server rules, guidelines, and FAQs to keep the community informed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Encourage good behavior by recognizing helpful members, sharing wins, and reinforcing positive community norms.
• Help onboard new members by greeting them, guiding them through server rules, and answering basic questions.
• Avoid power-tripping or playing favorites—moderation is about fairness, not ego.
• Help maintain a positive atmosphere by leading through example—being calm, kind, and fair even under pressure.
• Ultimately, help make the server a safe, fun, and thriving place where people want to return—not just visit.

Preferred:

• Enjoys being part of a team and working behind the scenes to help things run smoothly.
• Comfortable reminding members about the rules in a friendly and fair way.
• Familiar with Discord and actively participates in servers as a community member.
• Interested in helping organize server activities or events to keep the community engaged.
• Open to learning how to mute, warn, or report users who violate guidelines.
