Description:

We’re looking for a Remote Branding Consultant who can help businesses create authentic and impactful brand identities. You’ll work with clients to understand their business, values, and vision, creating personalized branding strategies that stand out. You’ll assist in the development of brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints. You’ll help develop a visual brand identity that includes logos, color schemes, and typography, ensuring it reflects the business's core values. You’ll advise on how to refine brand positioning and differentiation strategies, helping businesses stand out in their industry. You’ll collaborate with clients to develop brand stories that effectively communicate who they are and why they matter. You’ll conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitor strategies to inform branding decisions. You’ll assess the effectiveness of existing branding and recommend improvements or pivots based on market trends and audience insights. You’ll work remotely, offering your expertise to businesses of all sizes and industries, from startups to established companies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Offer ongoing consulting as needed—brand isn’t static, and you’ll help adapt it as markets or products evolve.
• Review and refine branding for digital products, personal brands, SaaS tools, e-commerce, or service-based businesses.
• Run competitor research and audience analysis to help clients differentiate themselves and find their niche.
• Guide clients through the process of refining or building brand guidelines—fonts, colors, logos, tone, and application rules.
• Build out customer personas and messaging frameworks to guide marketing and content decisions.

Preferred:

• Understands market research and how to define target personas and tone of voice.
• Can create branding deliverables such as moodboards, brand voice guides, or social templates.
• Willing to collaborate with designers, copywriters, and marketing teams on rollout plans.
• Skilled in crafting brand stories, taglines, and messaging frameworks for various audiences.
• Enjoys working with clients to uncover their purpose and translate it visually and verbally.
