Description:

We’re hiring a Construction Worker who isn’t afraid of hard work, early mornings, or getting their hands dirty to build something real. Join us as a Construction Worker Trainee and we’ll help you learn from zero. You’ll start by learning basic site safety: how to wear PPE, how to lift properly, and how to move around a jobsite without getting hurt or getting in the way. Each day, you’ll shadow experienced workers who’ll show you how real construction happens — with patience and guidance. You’ll begin with simple tasks: carrying materials, keeping the site clean, measuring, marking, and helping more experienced workers stay on track. You’ll learn how to use tools correctly — from shovels and saws to drills, levels, and laser lines — always with supervision and support. You’ll build your strength, your confidence, and your rhythm — learning when to push and when to slow down to stay safe and focused. You’ll work in the sun, the wind, sometimes the mud — but always with a crew that’s got your back. You’ll be expected to ask questions, take correction well, and never pretend to know something you don’t — that’s how real tradespeople grow.

Basic Qualifications:

• Assist with various construction tasks such as digging trenches, loading/unloading materials, mixing concrete, and cleaning job sites.
• Support traffic control or pedestrian redirection on public-facing construction projects.
• Perform site clean-up duties such as removing debris, sweeping, disposing of waste, or managing temporary fencing.
• Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, or barricades as needed to support site operations.
• Support skilled tradespeople (e.g., electricians, carpenters, masons, plumbers) by preparing work areas and fetching tools or materials.

Preferred:

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
• Enjoys working with their hands and seeing real progress at the end of each day.
• Physically fit to lift heavy loads, stand for long hours, and perform repetitive manual labor.
• Willing to attend safety briefings, training sessions, or tool demos when required.
• Has basic math skills for measuring materials, reading levels, or interpreting dimensions.
