Description:

We’re looking for an Interior Designer who understands how to make a space feel like home — someone who listens deeply, designs with empathy, and creates environments that reflect people’s lives and stories. You’ll lead design projects from concept development through execution, focusing on both aesthetic excellence and functional outcomes. You’ll lead residential projects from concept to final styling, guiding layouts, finishes, furnishings, and lighting plans. We’ll rely on your ability to bring warmth and clarity to interiors — creating rooms that feel effortless, yet thoughtfully composed. You’ll select furniture, finishes, lighting, textures, and materials with both style and performance in mind. You’ll oversee material selection, furniture curation, and lighting strategy, making sure each decision supports the bigger story. You’ll be on-site during key phases to guide execution, solve design challenges, and protect the original vision. You’ll present your work with clarity and confidence, backing each choice with logic, emotion, or both. You’ll also help clients see possibilities they never imagined — then show them how to make it real.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Create presentations that not only show the look—but explain the logic and feel behind it.
  • Balance aesthetics with practicality—beautiful spaces still need to function day to day.
  • Take detailed measurements and assess the spatial potential of residential or commercial interiors.
  • Stay on top of design trends, new materials, and tech (like smart lighting or 3D planning tools).
  • Handle revisions with grace, ensuring changes don’t compromise the overall vision.

Preferred:

  • Can collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, engineers, and project managers on multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience designing residential, commercial, or hospitality interiors with attention to both aesthetics and functionality.
  • Knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and health & safety regulations.
  • Background or strong passion in interior design, architecture, spatial planning, or environmental design.
  • Comfortable preparing client presentations and defending design decisions with clarity and rationale.

Benefits:

  • Design from wherever sparks your creativity — studio, sofa, or site visit.
  • No micromanagement — we trust your vision and spatial sense.
  • And yes — we do care if the chairs face the wrong direction in a render.
  • Design critiques with wine (or tea), laughter, and zero ego.
  • Your name goes in our project showcases, not buried in “team effort.”

You’ll balance creativity with precision — adjusting to budgets, constraints, and evolving client input without compromising design quality. This role is perfect for someone who notices how light moves through a room — and cares how it makes someone feel. You should be proficient in design tools like AutoCAD or SketchUp, but also confident leading conversations and presenting your ideas. You’ll bring discipline to creativity and push past trends to find timeless, honest solutions. We value designers who think like architects but move like artists — shaping atmosphere, not just furniture plans. We’ll support you with collaborative teams, beautiful materials, and clients who trust good design. If you see interior design as both an art and a service — and want to build environments that matter — we want to meet you. Join us in creating interiors that reflect identity, improve experience, and leave lasting impressions.
