Description:

We’re hiring a CNC Machine Operator who understands that precision isn’t optional — it’s the job. You’ll be responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring CNC machines to produce high-quality parts that meet exact specifications. You’ll be trained by day-shift machinists first, learning the machines, safety procedures, and how to run production step by step. Once you’re ready, you’ll transition to nights, where your job is to keep parts moving, tools sharp, and tolerances tight. You’ll run CNC equipment during off-hours, with support nearby but not always right next to you — and that trust means something here. You’ll start with basics: loading raw material, inspecting tools, checking coolant levels, and keeping logs of every cycle you run. You’ll help inspect parts using micrometers, bore gauges, and surface roughness testers — because quality here isn’t visual, it’s measurable down to the micron. You’ll be responsible for following job travelers, heat treatment records, and exact sequences — because skipping a step isn’t an option with expensive material. You’ll be trained to understand chip behavior, how to avoid work hardening, and when to stop, adjust, and recalibrate before making it worse.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Support continuous improvement by offering ideas for tooling, process flow, or cycle time reductions.
  • Ultimately, ensure precision parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and safely—supporting the backbone of modern manufacturing.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, or changing coolant to keep machines in proper working condition.
  • Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and transfer of completed parts to the next stage of production or quality control.
  • Participate in shift handovers by communicating machine status, tool usage, and production priorities to incoming teams.

Preferred:

  • Comfortable using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments to inspect finished parts.
  • Thrives in hands-on, production-oriented environments with clear goals and teamwork.
  • Willing to assist with tool changes, fixture setup, or process improvements.
  • Capable of maintaining clean, safe, and organized workstations.
  • Wants to grow into roles like CNC Programmer, Lead Operator, or Manufacturing Technician.

Benefits:

  • Health insurance, sick days, and real paid vacations — because you're not a robot.
  • Paid overtime if you want it, no pressure if you don’t.
  • You won’t just push buttons — you'll understand what the machine does.
  • We don’t expect perfection on day one — we teach, not criticize.
  • Get paid weekly (yes, really) — because bills don’t wait till the 30th.

You’ll clean your work area, remove chips, and make sure your machine is ready for the next shift, every single night. You’ll work alongside experienced machinists and programmers who respect the machines — but also know their limits. You’ll take detailed notes, follow setup sheets, and learn how to read blueprints — even if the lighting’s dim and the clock says 3:00 a. You’ll take pride in doing things right the first time — and adjusting quickly when the job calls for it. You’ll discover that working nights isn’t just about peace and quiet — it’s about being reliable, alert, and taking pride in holding the line. You’ll discover that great CNC work isn’t about pushing “start” — it’s about understanding what happens after you do. " You’ll be a key part of the production process — turning raw material into something exact, functional, and valuable. If you’re ready to treat metal like it matters — and build skill where shortcuts don’t exist — we’re ready to invest in your future. ” If you value quiet focus, technical skill, and the satisfaction of solo work done well — we’re ready to train you after dark.
