Description:

We’re hiring a dedicated Translation Specialist to join our team and provide accurate, timely translations for various projects. You’ll be responsible for translating documents, websites, and marketing materials while maintaining the integrity of the original message. You’ll work closely with the content and marketing teams to ensure that all translations are culturally appropriate and on-brand. You’ll provide timely and high-quality translations, making sure all content is consistent with the tone and intent of the original text. You’ll review and proofread translated materials to ensure they are free from errors and reflect the intended tone and style. You’ll ensure that all translated materials are grammatically correct, error-free, and properly formatted according to project needs. You’ll handle technical, legal, and general translations, requiring both linguistic expertise and subject-specific knowledge. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple translation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet client expectations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Respond to revision requests or client feedback with professionalism and openness to improve final output.
• Use quality assurance tools to run checks for missing segments, formatting issues, or term mismatches.
• Track projects, versions, and feedback using spreadsheets, Trello, or translation platforms for organized delivery.
• Respect deadlines and deliver high-quality translations on time, even under tight turnaround conditions.
• Ensure terminology is consistent within documents, especially for industry-specific or branded content.

Preferred:

• Open to translating both short-form and long-form content across diverse topics.
• Excited to help individuals and organizations reach new audiences through language.
• Can adapt translation style depending on content type — legal, medical, technical, or marketing.
• Able to proofread and edit own work before submission.
• Can deliver translations in common formats like Word, Excel, Google Docs, or subtitles (.srt).
