We’re hiring a Remote Onboarding Specialist who can make starting a new job feel like joining a community — not just a company. You’ll coordinate training schedules, send out access credentials, and make sure no one’s stuck waiting on IT. ” You’ll build playbooks, record welcome videos, and turn routine info into something people actually want to read. Think of yourself as the host of a virtual welcome party — making sure everyone feels seen, heard, and set up for success. You’ll refine onboarding materials to make them more intuitive, engaging, and accessible. Your calendar will be your best friend, and your follow-ups will be legendary. We’re a remote team, so your ability to make virtual feel personal will set the tone for every new hire.
Basic Qualifications:
- Make the onboarding process feel human and welcoming, even through a screen—people remember how you made them feel.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and team leads to make sure everything is ready before the new hire’s start date.
- Keep communication clear, organized, and empathetic—onboarding is more than a checklist, it’s someone’s first impression.
- Use tools like Slack, Zoom, BambooHR, Gusto, or custom dashboards to automate and streamline onboarding tasks.
- Coordinate equipment shipments, account setups, and software permissions (even if you don’t do the IT part, you’ll track it).
Preferred:
- Can coordinate between HR, IT, and team leads to ensure everything is ready on day one.
- Comfortable setting up calendar invites, email accounts, and access permissions.
- Enjoys creating structure and helping others feel informed and connected.
- Can create or maintain clear onboarding guides, video walkthroughs, or templates.
- Familiar with remote tools like Zoom, Slack, Google Workspace, and Notion.
