Description:

We’re looking for a proactive and organized Remote HR Coordinator to help manage the administrative side of our human resources department. You’ll assist in the full cycle of recruitment, from posting job ads to scheduling interviews and onboarding new team members. You’ll assist with onboarding, making sure new employees are set up for success and feel welcomed into the team. You’ll manage and update employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with legal requirements. You’ll ensure that employees have the resources they need to succeed, from training programs to performance reviews. You’ll assist in the development of HR policies, making sure they reflect our values and industry best practices. You’ll be an advocate for a positive work environment, facilitating employee engagement and addressing concerns as they arise. You’ll manage time-off requests, attendance, and help coordinate payroll with our finance team. You’ll also help with compliance, ensuring that the company follows labor laws and regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Be proactive—flag recurring issues, identify process gaps, and suggest solutions, not just problems.
  • Track key HR metrics—turnover, onboarding completion, survey results—and present findings in simple reports or dashboards.
  • Assist with performance review cycles—sending reminders, tracking submissions, and compiling feedback when needed.
  • Assist in maintaining internal HR documentation, such as policies, handbooks, org charts, and FAQ pages.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with privacy, labor, and company policies.

Preferred:

  • Wants to contribute to a culture where employees feel supported and set up for success.
  • Background or strong interest in human resources, business administration, or people operations.
  • Experience supporting HR processes such as onboarding, scheduling interviews, or managing documentation.
  • Proactive about solving small issues before they become bigger problems.
  • Can manage calendars, send timely reminders, and help facilitate smooth interview flows.
