Description:

We’re looking for a dynamic Online English Tutor to help students improve their English language skills through personalized lessons. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that focus on improving reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. You’ll teach English to students of various levels, from beginners to advanced learners, helping them build vocabulary, grammar, and fluency. You’ll work with students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced learners, helping them build their confidence in using English. You’ll assist students with pronunciation, accent reduction, and other key areas of language acquisition. You’ll assist with exam preparation, helping students review for tests like TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge English exams. You’ll foster a positive learning environment, making lessons enjoyable and engaging through interactive activities and exercises. You’ll teach students using various online platforms, ensuring that lessons are accessible, informative, and enjoyable.

Basic Qualifications:

• Assign homework, reading tasks, or writing exercises that reinforce class topics and support independent study.
• Maintain clear communication with students (and/or parents) regarding scheduling, cancellations, and expectations.
• Create a safe learning space where mistakes are welcomed as part of growth, not something to fear.
• Foster a friendly, encouraging atmosphere that builds student confidence and motivation to speak English.
• Encourage shy or beginner learners through praise, repetition, and gentle correction.

Preferred:

• Experience preparing students for tests like IELTS, TOEFL, or general conversation practice.
• Fluent or near-native level of English with clear pronunciation and grammar.
• Open to working with students across different time zones and cultural backgrounds.
• Able to manage one-on-one or small group sessions remotely with professionalism.
• Comfortable teaching speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
