Description:

We’re hiring a Manual QA Tester who knows that great user experience starts with careful testing — someone who’s detail-obsessed, methodical, and committed to making sure nothing broken slips through the cracks. You’ll be responsible for validating features, verifying edge cases, and ensuring every release meets our quality standards. You’ll test new features, identify issues, and help keep our releases smooth, stable, and stress-free for users. We expect you to test with empathy — not just “does it work,” but “does it make sense, feel smooth, and behave consistently? ” You’ll write clear, reproducible bug reports and maintain accurate test logs to support ongoing development. We’ll rely on you to verify bug fixes, ensure regressions haven’t occurred, and confirm that features meet expectations. You’ll document bugs clearly — with steps, screenshots, and expected vs. You’ll also keep track of multiple app versions and help manage testing timelines within the sprint. You’ll test across multiple builds, log environments, and work within sprint cycles to deliver fast, stable releases. You’ll support UX teams by flagging rough spots, unclear labels, or inconsistent behaviors even when technically “nothing’s broken.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Stay calm and focused when deadlines are tight or builds are buggy—you're the safety net.
  • Work with tools like Jira, TestRail, ClickUp, or spreadsheets to manage your QA workflow.
  • Help onboard new QA testers by sharing tips, gotchas, and hidden bugs.
  • Log bugs with clear steps to reproduce, screenshots, and notes for developers to act on.
  • Document your findings in a way that makes sense even to someone who didn’t see the bug happen live.

Preferred:

  • Willing to document steps, gather screenshots/videos, and collaborate with developers to isolate issues.
  • Pays attention to UI/UX details, layout consistency, and basic functionality during exploratory testing.
  • Experience performing manual testing on web, mobile, or desktop applications across different platforms and browsers.
  • Familiar with test case management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray is a plus.
  • Open to working with designers, PMs, and engineers to improve overall product quality.

Benefits:

  • You’ll get time to explore, break things, and suggest improvements — not just follow scripts.
  • And yes — you’ll get to say “I caught that” when no one else even noticed.
  • Your attention to detail is superpower-level here — and it’s appreciated.
  • We don’t blame testers — we fix things together.
  • We celebrate bug-free builds like birthdays (with cake, yes).

” You’ll join daily check-ins, provide QA updates, and work closely with developers during bug triage and priority discussions. This role is perfect for someone who loves clean interfaces, hates crashes, and thinks like a power user. You’ll give feedback not just on whether something works, but whether it feels polished, logical, and complete. You don’t need to be technical, but you do need to be organized, curious, and excellent at spotting small issues before they become big ones. This role is ideal for someone who’s methodical, calm under pressure, and naturally curious about how things *should* work. By the end of your first months, you’ll be a key part of our release rhythm, helping us ship confidently and responsibly. If you take pride in delivering things that *just work* — we’re ready for you to join the team. By the end of your first release cycle, you’ll be trusted, respected, and irreplaceable on the QA team. If you believe quality is in the details — and you know where to look — we’re ready for you to test with us.
