Description:

We’re hiring an Online Community Support specialist who knows how to make digital spaces feel alive, welcoming, and well cared for. You’ll be the steady, positive presence that keeps our digital spaces running smoothly and feeling human. You’ll monitor discussions, jump in where needed, and make sure the tone of the space stays respectful, inclusive, and on-brand. You’ll help manage community guidelines, encourage respectful engagement, and step in when conversations need redirection or support. But you won’t just be reacting — you’ll also be sparking engagement with polls, prompts, shoutouts, and creative ideas that help the space come alive. Whether it’s managing a live event, posting announcements, or responding to DMs, you’ll bring a personal, human tone to every interaction.

Basic Qualifications:

• Track common questions or feedback and turn them into FAQs, guides, or helpful posts to reduce repetition.
• Stay on top of platform updates and features (e.g., Discord threads, Reddit moderation tools, etc.).
• Monitor conversations to ensure discussions stay respectful, helpful, and aligned with community guidelines.
• Engage daily with community members across platforms (Discord, Facebook Groups, forums, etc.)—answering questions, reacting to posts, and keeping the vibe positive.
• Document best practices and tone guidelines for other team members or future community hires.

Preferred:

• Can identify and handle spam, inappropriate behavior, or trolling calmly and professionally.
• Can write concise, helpful replies while keeping the brand voice consistent.
• Enjoys encouraging discussions, responding to feedback, and helping members feel heard.
• Understands how to maintain a positive atmosphere and enforce community guidelines.
• Values authenticity, safety, and meaningful connections in every user interaction.
