Description:

We’re looking for a Cleaner Trainee to help keep our office spaces clean, organized, and ready for a productive day. You’ll begin by learning how to clean hotel rooms efficiently — making beds, changing linens, vacuuming carpets, and wiping all surfaces. You’ll assist in operating floor scrubbers, sweepers, and mopping systems designed for commercial spaces. You’ll assist in wiping down desks, sanitizing door handles, and refreshing shared spaces like kitchens and restrooms. You’ll help wipe down handrails, elevator buttons, escalator belts, and glass doors to remove smudges and germs. You’ll help restock supplies like soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and waste bags during your rounds. ) and be taught how to remove and replace it safely. You’ll work closely with the laundry team to track linen flow and ensure nothing is damaged or misplaced. You’ll help restock supplies like hand sanitizers, soap dispensers, tissues, and disposable bed sheets.

Basic Qualifications:

• Respond quickly to spills, accidents, or urgent cleanup requests.
• Show up on time, stay organized, and be someone others can rely on every day.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels in restrooms and break rooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
• Handle sensitive areas with extra care, such as medical rooms, computer equipment, or confidential spaces.

Preferred:

• Familiar with using basic cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, brooms, and microfiber cloths.
• Pays close attention to detail when cleaning surfaces, restrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas.
• Able to handle cleaning tasks in a variety of environments such as offices, schools, hospitals, or hotels.
• Follows instructions carefully and communicates clearly about completed tasks or supply needs.
• Able to lift light to moderate loads and complete physically active tasks throughout the shift.
