Description:

We’re looking for a WordPress Assistant who knows their way around the dashboard like it’s second nature and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty with plugins, themes, and a little bit of HTML/CSS. You’re the type who enjoys the behind-the-scenes work that keeps a website running smoothly — whether it’s updating pages, formatting blog posts, managing menus, or troubleshooting layout quirks. You’ve probably used Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders, and you know how to make edits without breaking the design. You’re comfortable handling basic customizations with HTML and CSS, and you’re not afraid to dive into a plugin’s settings to get things just right. You understand the basics of SEO, how to compress images without sacrificing quality, and why backups and plugin updates really matter. Maybe you’ve optimized a few pages for SEO, resized a lot of images, or even cleaned up a theme that had way too many unnecessary features.

Basic Qualifications:

• Troubleshoot layout issues, plugin conflicts, or broken links and fix them efficiently without causing downtime.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness across devices and screen sizes by testing and tweaking layouts.
• Help upload content (blogs, images, product listings) while formatting it to match the site's design and SEO standards.
• Provide basic support to content creators or clients on how to navigate and use the admin dashboard.
• Update site headers, footers, menus, and widgets as needed across pages.

Preferred:

• Open to learning advanced tools like ACF, CPT UI, or multilingual plugins.
• Enjoys working in a remote environment and supporting others with their websites.
• Understands how to manage media files, categories, tags, and menus.
• Comfortable testing site functionality across desktop and mobile devices.
• Interested in learning about WordPress performance, caching, and site speed.
