Description:

We’re looking for an Illustrator Trainee who’s eager to grow their artistic voice while learning how illustration works in a professional creative environment — no experience required, just passion, discipline, and a great eye for detail. You’ll assist in developing visual assets for digital and print projects, including characters, icons, backgrounds, and editorial pieces. We’ll teach you how to translate briefs into visuals, develop rough concepts, and refine your sketches into clean, purposeful art. You’ll work closely with designers, writers, and art directors to bring concepts to life in ways that are both creative and purposeful. Expect to work in a fast-paced environment where flexibility, curiosity, and attention to feedback matter. You’ll gain experience working with tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, Fresco, or traditional sketching — whatever your style is, we’ll help refine it. We’ll support you in exploring different illustration styles — minimal, textured, hand-drawn, flat, or stylized. You’ll be invited to creative brainstorms and team reviews where your ideas and sketches are always welcome. You’ll help prepare illustrations for multiple formats, ensuring proper dimensions, resolutions, and file types.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay inspired and research visual trends, techniques, and artists across cultures and time periods.
• Create original illustrations that bring ideas, stories, or products to life across digital and print formats.
• Adapt your style based on project needs—from playful and bold to technical or realistic.
• Maintain flexibility in switching between styles, tones, and audiences depending on the brief.
• Document your process for portfolios, presentations, or team knowledge sharing.

Preferred:

• Experience creating illustrations for books, branding, social media, games, or editorial use.
• Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple illustration projects simultaneously.
• Capable of illustrating characters, environments, icons, or conceptual scenes from scratch.
• Comfortable delivering clean, well-organized files in formats suitable for print and digital publishing.
• Willing to create mood boards, style frames, or sketches as part of the ideation process.
