Description:

We’re looking for an Email Marketing Assistant to help create, optimize, and manage email campaigns that drive engagement and sales. You’ll be responsible for crafting email copy, designing templates, and scheduling campaigns across various email platforms. You’ll collaborate with the marketing team to ensure email content aligns with ongoing campaigns and promotional efforts. You’ll help manage and segment email lists to target the right audience with personalized, relevant content. You’ll help optimize email content for mobile devices, ensuring emails are responsive and user-friendly. You’ll track and analyze email campaign metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, to refine strategies. You’ll collaborate with the design team to ensure email templates are mobile-friendly and visually consistent across devices. You’ll work with the marketing team to align email strategies with larger business objectives, including product launches and promotions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Coordinate A/B tests for subject lines, CTAs, send times, or layout variations to optimize performance.
• Help brainstorm content ideas for newsletters, promotions, or educational emails that add value beyond selling.
• Segment subscriber lists based on behavior, location, or engagement to ensure emails are targeted and relevant.
• Work with content, design, or sales teams to align email messages with product launches, events, or seasonal promotions.
• Be proactive—flag low-performing campaigns or suggest new angles even if you're not the strategist.

Preferred:

• Familiar with tools like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ConvertKit, or Brevo (Sendinblue).
• Comfortable using Canva or other tools to design basic banners or visuals for emails.
• Values clear communication, thoughtful timing, and audience-centric messaging.
• Basic understanding of email marketing principles, including audience segmentation and A/B testing.
• Can schedule and test email campaigns before sending to ensure accuracy.

You’ll monitor email deliverability, ensuring messages reach the inbox and don't end up in spam folders. You’ll help coordinate the production and scheduling of regular newsletters, updates, and promotional emails to maintain customer interest. You’ll stay informed on the latest email marketing trends and best practices, incorporating fresh ideas into campaigns.
