Description:

We’re hiring a Security Guard Trainee for a residential complex — ideal for someone who’s polite, observant, and ready to keep tenants feeling safe and supported around the clock. You’ll begin by learning nighttime patrol routines — walking buildings, checking access points, and logging observations every hour. You’ll be trained to watch crowd behavior and spot potential risks like overcrowding, unsafe movement, or aggressive behavior. You’ll assist in checking IDs, logging visitor information, and guiding guests through proper sign-in procedures. You’ll help conduct quiet patrols through parking areas, hallways, stairwells, and shared amenities like gyms or laundry rooms. You’ll receive instruction on how to handle alarms, respond to system alerts, and reset panels when needed. You’ll assist in reuniting lost guests with their groups and managing minor disputes or confusion in the crowd. You’ll support emergency response procedures, including evacuations, fire protocols, or calling authorities if necessary. You’ll wear a clean, visible uniform and carry communication tools like a radio or flashlight during all patrols.

Basic Qualifications:

• Attend training sessions to stay updated on safety standards and security best practices.
• Monitor premises through regular patrols, security cameras, and access points to ensure safety and order.
• Check identification, control entry, and authorize visitors or staff according to site procedures.
• Wear and maintain proper uniform and identification at all times during your shift.
• Provide basic first aid or CPR if certified and required in emergency situations.

Preferred:

• Experience monitoring entrances, patrolling premises, or observing surveillance systems in commercial, residential, or public areas.
• Able to stay calm under pressure and follow post orders or protocols in various situations.
• Valid security license or guard card (if required by local regulations) and familiarity with basic security procedures.
• Able to enforce property rules, check visitor IDs, and respond to unauthorized access attempts professionally.
• Values responsibility, vigilance, and professionalism in every shift.
