Description:

We’re hiring a Commercial Locksmith to install, maintain, and troubleshoot lock systems in office buildings, hotels, schools, and warehouses — perfect for someone who’s detail-oriented, discreet, and experienced with large-scale security systems. You’ll be dispatched to homes, businesses, and vehicles at all hours to assist clients who are locked out, locked in, or facing security breaches. You’ll use lock-picking tools, bypass devices, extractors, and drills to gain access without causing damage whenever possible. You’ll assist with creating and maintaining master key hierarchies, issuing access levels by department or personnel. You’ll rekey locks, board up broken entries, and install new hardware on-site to restore safety immediately after incidents. You’ll rotate on-call shifts — including nights, weekends, and holidays — to provide 24/7 availability to clients in need. You’ll document all services provided, verify vehicle ownership, and ensure all security protocols are followed at every job. You’ll rotate between scheduled maintenance, installation projects, and urgent security calls based on your weekly route. You’ll work closely with law enforcement, property managers, or emergency services during sensitive or high-risk calls.

Basic Qualifications:

• Create master key systems or restricted access setups for commercial clients.
• Perform maintenance checks on high-traffic entry systems in offices or apartment buildings.
• Maintain professional appearance and communication—clients often meet you in stressful situations.
• Work independently while managing time and routing efficiently across multiple locations.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and local regulations.

Preferred:

• Values integrity, patience, and problem-solving in helping clients secure their property.
• Enjoys working with their hands, solving puzzles, and restoring access or peace of mind.
• Capable of troubleshooting keyless entry systems and integrating locks with alarm or camera systems.
• Familiar with basic electronics, wiring, or battery replacement for digital lock systems.
• Willing to assist with safe moving, lock retrofits, or large building rekeying projects.

You’ll be expected to communicate clearly, build trust, and maintain professionalism with customers during stressful situations. You’ll be trained in anti-theft systems, key cloning procedures, and ECU synchronization for newer models. You’ll receive support from a central operations team that helps with routing, call screening, and technical support if needed. You’ll receive ongoing training in code compliance, fire safety hardware, and local security standards. You’ll be expected to keep a clean appearance, respect privacy, and work discreetly in sensitive environments. Previous locksmith or hardware experience is a plus — but we’re also ready to train quick learners with strong mechanical aptitude.
