Description:

We’re hiring a Paramedic Trainee to support non-emergency and interfacility transport — ideal for someone who wants to build medical experience in a steady, structured setting. You’ll assist with setting up first aid stations and prepping mobile response gear before gates open to the public. You’ll help prep stretchers, check vital equipment, and ensure that oxygen tanks, monitors, and medication bags are ready before departure. You’ll be trained to communicate with nurses and hospital staff during patient handoffs, making sure no detail is missed. You’ll help with patient documentation, learning how to record symptoms, injuries, and treatments accurately and quickly. You’ll help guide guests to care areas discreetly and communicate with event staff when assistance is needed. You’ll observe how paramedics keep detailed transfer logs, manage medications-in-transit, and ensure documentation is accurate and timely. You’ll help restock and decontaminate gear after each mission, preparing for the next call without delay. You’ll be trained in basic rescue tools and how to move safely around unstable or dangerous areas under supervision.

Basic Qualifications:

• Respond rapidly to emergency calls and assess the condition of patients at the scene.
• Make split-second decisions in high-pressure situations with a calm and focused mindset.
• Calmly handle incidents ranging from car accidents and heart attacks to overdoses and childbirth.
• Adapt care strategies depending on patient age, condition, location, or available resources.
• Operate ambulances and ensure equipment is stocked, functional, and ready for use at all times.

Preferred:

• Proficient in performing CPR, administering medications, using defibrillators, and managing airways.
• Knows how to safely lift and transport patients using stretchers, backboards, and proper body mechanics.
• Certified and licensed as a paramedic with completed EMT and advanced life support (ALS) training.
• Thrives in unpredictable, high-stakes environments where readiness and skill save lives.
• Understands medical protocols, triage methods, and scope of practice defined by local or national regulations.
