Description:

We’re hiring a Security Guard Trainee to join our event safety team — ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to help keep concerts, festivals, and public gatherings safe and organized. You’ll begin by shadowing experienced guards to understand patrol routes, entry procedures, and incident response protocols. You’ll be trained to monitor crowds, identify suspicious behavior, and respond calmly to incidents without escalating tension. You’ll be trained to handle intercom systems, surveillance monitors, and electronic keycard access tools. You’ll help secure backstage zones, VIP areas, or equipment tents where access must be strictly controlled. You’ll learn how to recognize signs of unauthorized entry, property damage, or suspicious activity and report them promptly. You’ll learn to interact with retail staff, cleaning teams, and mall management to keep daily operations smooth. You’ll assist in crowd control, helping maintain order during events, busy periods, or emergencies. You’ll assist in documenting incidents clearly and submitting reports to supervisors in a timely manner.

Basic Qualifications:

• Monitor fire panels, emergency exits, and other safety systems as part of routine checks.
• Use radios or mobile devices to stay in contact with other guards or supervisors.
• Provide basic first aid or CPR if certified and required in emergency situations.
• Manage access logs, key control systems, or badge distribution as part of your duties.
• Support crowd control efforts during events, emergencies, or high-traffic situations.

Preferred:

• Organized with shift handovers, key logs, visitor logs, and equipment tracking.
• Open to training in workplace safety, first aid, or customer service depending on the site.
• Maintains a professional appearance and respectful attitude when interacting with staff, guests, or the public.
• Capable of collaborating with law enforcement or emergency responders when needed.
• Knows how to use two-way radios, flashlights, access control panels, and CCTV monitors.
