Description:

We’re looking for a Barista Trainee to join our mobile coffee team — someone who’s flexible, upbeat, and ready to learn the ropes in a fast-paced, on-the-go setting. You’ll help set up the coffee truck at different locations — from early morning office spots to weekend markets and events. You’ll assist with prepping ingredients like syrups, milk, and toppings, keeping everything fresh, stocked, and organized. You’ll assist with brewing methods like V60, Chemex, AeroPress, and learn what makes each cup unique. You’ll help serve everything from flat whites to iced matchas — and discover the little rituals that turn drinks into experiences. You’ll support snack and pastry service — warming items, restocking displays, and handling food with hygiene and care. You’ll work with other departments — sometimes greeting HR visitors, handling meeting coffee trays, or prepping drinks for executives on the go. You’ll pitch in on restocking shelves, folding to-go bags, and labeling syrups, pastries, or cold brews. You’ll assist with basic baking, food handling, and plating of pastries or snacks when needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Contribute ideas for improving service, efficiency, or customer experience.
• Assist in training new hires by modeling good habits and sharing tips.
• Stay calm and friendly during busy hours, managing multiple drink orders at once.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers to keep the workflow smooth and orders organized.
• Help keep the café atmosphere welcoming, relaxing, and on-brand.

Preferred:

• Familiar with basic coffee bean knowledge, roast profiles, and brewing techniques (e.g., pour-over, French press, cold brew).
• Pays attention to allergen safety, cross-contamination, and customer dietary preferences.
• Understands how to manage customer queues, prepare orders efficiently, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Follows hygiene and sanitation procedures strictly, including regular equipment cleaning and workspace maintenance.
• Open to offering samples, upselling, and sharing product knowledge with curious customers.
