Description:

We’re hiring a Manicurist Trainee to join our eco-friendly nail studio — ideal for someone who values wellness, sustainability, and gentle, natural nail care. You’ll start by learning how to prep natural nails properly for long-lasting extensions and designs. You’ll assist in basic manicures — soaking, trimming, filing, and buffing nails with precision and care. You’ll be trained to use forms, tips, and sculpting techniques to build strong, well-balanced nail structures. You’ll learn how to adapt to different environments — small apartments, corporate lounges, or outdoor patios — while maintaining salon-level quality. You’ll learn how to execute popular styles like ombré, marble, French fade, chrome, or matte finishes. You’ll support nail art prep — mixing custom gel colors, cleaning brushes, organizing stones, and preparing foil, stickers, and pigments. You’ll help maintain tools and stations, following hygiene standards like sterilizing metal tools and using disposable files when required. You’ll help manage schedules, confirm bookings, and adjust time slots based on traffic or last-minute changes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Handle client concerns or requests for corrections with grace and professionalism.
• Stay creative and inspired—even the smallest nail is a canvas for expression.
• Recommend nail treatments, colors, or styles based on client needs and current trends.
• Follow local health regulations, licensing requirements, and salon policies at all times.
• Suggest aftercare products or routines to help clients maintain their nails between visits.

Preferred:

• Organized in managing client appointments, product inventory, and personal workstations.
• Open to receiving feedback and continuously improving technique through workshops or certification upgrades.
• Able to create hand-painted designs, use rhinestones, foils, and stamping techniques with creativity.
• Certified or trained in manicure and pedicure services with a solid understanding of nail anatomy and hygiene.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a salon, spa, or beauty studio.
