Description:

We’re welcoming aspiring musicians and composers to join us as trainees and learn how to turn raw musical ideas into polished productions. You’ll assist in composing melodies, background scores, sound cues, and short audio loops for digital content, ads, or video games. We’ll teach you how to structure your compositions for mood, pacing, and storytelling impact. You’ll experiment with different instruments, synths, and samples to find your sound and style. You’ll work on real projects, contributing to podcast intros, video game soundtracks, social media clips, or branded content. You’ll gain hands-on experience with DAWs like Logic Pro, FL Studio, or Ableton, depending on your preferences. We’ll show you how to make music that enhances rather than overpowers the visuals or narrative it supports. Expect to collaborate often, adjust fast, and grow confident in a fast-moving creative environment. Expect to work with software like Cubase, GarageBand, or Reaper — no worries if you’ve never used them, we’ll show you how.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experiment with styles, genres, and tools to keep your sound evolving and fresh.
• Balance artistic vision with practical needs—loopable cues, short stingers, full scores.
• Play instruments or conduct live sessions to bring your compositions to life.
• Stay up to date with trends in sound design, scoring, and audio tech.
• Record high-quality audio using DAWs and equipment suited to the genre and setting.

Preferred:

• Able to compose to picture, timecode, or thematic briefs for synchronized media work.
• Enjoys writing both standalone compositions and music that supports narratives or visual content.
• Organized with project files, track stems, and version control during the composition process.
• Understands music theory, chord progressions, dynamics, and rhythm across various genres.
• Familiar with recording equipment, audio interfaces, and basic mixing and mastering processes.
