Description:

We’re looking for a Kindergarten Teacher Trainee who believes learning starts with play, exploration, and joy — no formal teaching experience required. You’ll be part of a compassionate team that believes every child deserves patience, respect, and the chance to grow at their own pace. We’ll train you in how to turn games into lessons, stories into learning moments, and questions into conversation starters. You’ll assist lead educators in managing small groups, adapting activities, and creating calm, predictable classroom routines. You’ll help create a warm, structured space where every child feels safe, seen, and encouraged to be themselves. Expect slow progress some days — and the deepest joy when a child makes eye contact, speaks a new word, or joins a group activity for the first time. You’ll help with transitions, sensory tools, movement breaks, and one-on-one moments that build trust and connection. You’ll learn how to guide behavior respectfully — with a calm voice, clear boundaries, and consistency. Children will look to you not just for help, but for example — and you’ll grow into that responsibility over time.

Basic Qualifications:

• Celebrate small wins like tying shoes or writing their name for the first time.
• Guide children through routines like snack time, clean-up, and group learning.
• Stay updated with early education best practices and child development research.
• Host class events like performances, reading days, or family picnics to build community.
• Keep the classroom tidy, organized, and stocked with learning materials.

• Committed to health and hygiene standards, including handwashing routines and cleaning toys.
• Knows how to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom culture.
• Pays close attention to each child’s unique learning style, needs, and developmental milestones.
• Enjoys helping young learners build confidence, curiosity, and kindness.
• Familiar with age-appropriate teaching methods that support emotional, social, and cognitive development.
