Description:

We’re hiring a proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce Assistant to join our team and support the daily operations of our online store. You’ll be responsible for managing product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and images are displayed. You’ll assist with processing orders, coordinating shipments, and handling any customer inquiries related to deliveries or product issues. You’ll help monitor inventory levels, ensuring products are stocked and available for customers to purchase. You’ll support the marketing team in implementing online promotions, sales events, and product launch campaigns. You’ll assist with handling customer inquiries, providing assistance, and resolving any issues related to their purchases. You’ll manage product categorization, ensuring the website is organized and easy for customers to navigate. You’ll update product categories and assist in organizing the website for a streamlined shopping experience for customers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Communicate effectively with remote teams—updating status, asking questions, and reporting blockers clearly.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to support email campaigns, product launches, and seasonal promotions.
• Process incoming orders, coordinate with suppliers or fulfillment teams, and track shipping details to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct competitor research to benchmark pricing, descriptions, and merchandising strategies.
• Track and report on store performance metrics like conversion rate, bounce rate, and cart abandonment using Google Analytics or platform dashboards.

Preferred:

• Familiar with managing product listings on platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Etsy, or Amazon.
• Comfortable using tools like Google Sheets, Excel, or Airtable for product tracking and order management.
• Able to assist with customer inquiries, order status updates, and basic returns or refunds.
• Comfortable scheduling newsletters, sales, or social content in coordination with marketing teams.
• Understands the importance of mobile responsiveness and consistency across devices.
