Description:
We’re hiring a Hotel Front Desk Clerk who sees every arrival as the start of a story and every departure as a chance to be remembered. You’ll greet guests like friends, listen with intention, and handle every request with care and calm. You’ll handle bookings, check-ins, check-outs, and everything in between with confidence and warmth. You’ll check people in and out, manage reservations, answer phones, and handle payments with ease and accuracy. You’ll answer questions, resolve issues, and make local recommendations like a true concierge. Whether it’s a room key that won’t work or a breakfast question at 5 a. m. You’ll help travelers feel at home, whether they’re staying one night or one week. You’ll offer directions, restaurant recommendations, and local tips like a human version of Google Maps — but warmer. You’ll answer phones like a pro, give directions like a local, and recommend restaurants like a foodie. You’ll coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to make sure every guest experience is seamless.
Basic Qualifications:
- Maintain organized logs of wake-up calls, late checkouts, lost and found items, and incident reports as needed.
- Provide accurate and friendly information about hotel services, policies, breakfast times, check-out procedures, and Wi-Fi access.
- Stay calm under pressure during peak hours, special events, or guest escalations—always aiming to solve problems with grace.
- Verify guest identification and payment methods for check-in security and fraud prevention purposes.
- Monitor room availability, overbooking risks, and walk-in traffic—adjusting accordingly to maximize occupancy.
Preferred:
- Wants to grow into roles like Front Office Supervisor, Guest Services Manager, or Hotel Manager.
- Comfortable using booking systems like Opera, Cloudbeds, or other PMS platforms.
- Pays attention to cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas.
- Willing to help with luggage assistance, wake-up calls, or other guest services.
- Pays attention to guest needs and aims to create a welcoming first impression.
