Description:

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our remote team and produce high-quality video content. You’ll be responsible for editing raw footage, adding sound effects, music, and creating polished videos that align with our brand vision. You’ll work closely with content creators and the marketing team to produce videos for social media, websites, and campaigns. You’ll ensure that all videos are edited to a high standard, maintaining consistency, visual appeal, and engagement. You’ll ensure the video content is engaging, visually compelling, and optimized for each platform, from YouTube to Instagram and beyond. You’ll help incorporate music, sound effects, voiceovers, and graphics to enhance the quality of the video and the viewer’s experience. You’ll collaborate with other creatives to brainstorm and execute new video concepts and ideas that resonate with viewers. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple video projects at once, ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing quality.

Basic Qualifications:

• Incorporate feedback with a flexible mindset—tight turnarounds are common, and clarity is key.
• Optimize file size and quality for different platforms and delivery methods without sacrificing fidelity.
• Stay organized in your file structure and naming—messy timelines slow everyone down.
• Offer creative input when needed—great editors don’t just cut, they help shape the story.
• Create intro/outro animations, lower thirds, or branded overlays that reinforce visual identity without overwhelming the viewer.

Preferred:

• Experience editing content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, or short-form ads.
• Familiar with cloud storage and collaboration tools like Google Drive, Frame.io, Dropbox, or Trello.
• Comfortable working with vertical and horizontal formats across multiple platforms.
• Excited to grow into roles like Senior Video Editor, Content Producer, or Creative Lead.
• Knows how to compress and export videos for optimal quality and speed.

You’ll provide regular updates on video progress and communicate clearly with the team to ensure project goals are being met.
