Description:

We’re hiring a Radiologic Technologist Trainee for a small but vital hospital where every role matters and every patient is a neighbor. We’re hiring Radiologic Technologist Trainees — no prior experience required, just motivation and a willingness to learn. No problem — we’ll train you step by step in both imaging and patient-centered care. You’ll assist in preparing rooms, setting up machines, and guiding patients through the process with clarity and calm. Expect to assist in everything from routine chest X-rays to urgent trauma imaging, sometimes all in one shift. You’ll begin to understand how X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy contribute to accurate diagnosis and early detection. You’ll learn the science behind radiation safety, shielding techniques, and how to minimize risk to patients and yourself. You’ll gain confidence in reading orders, adjusting settings, and working alongside physicians, nurses, and radiologists. You’ll rotate through ERs, ICU, and general diagnostics, learning how to adapt to different workflows and patient needs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Follow proper procedures when using contrast agents, including allergy checks and monitoring.
• Communicate clearly with doctors, nurses, and patients to ensure smooth workflow.
• Be ready to assist during trauma cases or emergency imaging needs at any hour.
• Help lift or move patients who have limited mobility or are unconscious.
• Manage a steady flow of patients without making them feel rushed or overlooked.

Preferred:

• Comfortable using digital imaging systems (PACS) and electronic health records (EHR).
• Able to follow physicians' orders precisely and document procedure details accurately.
• Can collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other care team members to coordinate care.
• Excited to contribute to diagnostic processes that support accurate treatment decisions.
• Values accuracy, patient care, and teamwork in a clinical setting.
