Description:
We’re hiring a Manual QA Tester to help us deliver smooth, bug-free mobile experiences — someone who tests like a real user, spots flaws early, and understands that small glitches can ruin big moments. You’ll play a key role in testing features from the ground up, making sure every flow works the way it should — across all devices, browsers, and edge cases. You’ll collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand features and find weak spots before users do. We expect you to test with empathy — not just “does it work,” but “does it make sense, feel smooth, and behave consistently? ” You’ll write clear, reproducible bug reports and maintain accurate test logs to support ongoing development. We’ll rely on you to verify bug fixes, ensure regressions haven’t occurred, and confirm that features meet expectations. You’ll verify fixes in new builds, test in staging environments, and run regression checks before releases go live. We’ll teach you how to prioritize severity, escalate issues effectively, and balance speed with thoroughness. You’ll verify fixed issues, retest features after changes, and keep regression from creeping into stable builds. You’ll support UX teams by flagging rough spots, unclear labels, or inconsistent behaviors even when technically “nothing’s broken.
Basic Qualifications:
- Report blockers and critical issues quickly—your alert can prevent a broken release.
- Follow test cases step by step—and go beyond them when your instincts say 'something feels off'.
- Document your findings in a way that makes sense even to someone who didn’t see the bug happen live.
- Perform exploratory testing to find unexpected behaviors or edge-case bugs.
- Understand the product deeply so you can think like a real user, not just a checklist robot.
Preferred:
- Knows how to perform smoke tests, sanity tests, regression tests, and UAT where needed.
- Values consistency, communication, and curiosity when identifying product issues.
- Open to working with designers, PMs, and engineers to improve overall product quality.
- Comfortable identifying regressions, broken flows, or edge cases in early and late stages of development.
- Able to write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports using tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
Benefits:
- No “just click around” testing — we believe in structured chaos.
- Your feedback matters from alpha to launch — you’re part of the product, not a side-check.
- You’re part of retros, plannings, launches — not just “please test this.”
- You’ll help prevent disasters before they hit production — hero mode unlocked.
- Paid courses, certifications, or conference tickets — all on us.
We’ll guide you in logging and prioritizing issues by severity, frequency, and user impact. This role is perfect for someone who loves clean interfaces, hates crashes, and thinks like a power user. You’ll help maintain a growing set of manual test cases, keeping them relevant as features evolve. We’ll train you in tools, QA flows, test management platforms, and cross-browser/device strategies. You’ll gain insight into the entire product lifecycle — and see how your work helps make it safer, smoother, and smarter. You’ll get the satisfaction of improving product quality every day — and being the last line of defense before users see it. If you take pride in delivering things that *just work* — we’re ready for you to join the team. By the end of your first release cycle, you’ll be trusted, respected, and irreplaceable on the QA team. If you believe quality is in the details — and you know where to look — we’re ready for you to test with us.
